The Role –

Our client is a respected Retirement homebuilder with an established reputation for building outstanding quality homes and providing excellent customer service that is unparalleled.

They believe in building homes safely, in a way which is considerate to the environment and delighting our customers with a product and experience which recognises that buying a new home is a significant lifetime purchase.

They are looking to recruit a Sales Manager for on of their luxury developments in Watford.

Your role is primarily to manage the day-to-day sales function on a Flagship development and manage a team of Sales executives plus be the primary contact for potential and actual customers having responsibility for securing the sale of homes and managing the customer journey in accordance with company standards, procedures and targets.

  • Maintain the presentation of the sales areas to the highest standard
  • Research the marketplace and use the data to sell above the competition
  • Effectively manage a sales database to optimise sales opportunities
  • Generate potential sales leads in addition to those created by marketing activity
  • Apply effective selling skills in order to exceed required profitable sales targets
  • Progress secured reservations to completion
  • Anticipate and manage the threat of cancellation and minimise the cancellation rates
  • Ensure a smooth journey for the customer and the company during the legal process
  • Effectively manage all customers and deliver excellent customer service
  • Work as a positive and forward thinking member of the sales team
  • Effectively manage all sales administration in order to ensure correct reporting is provided
  • Effectively manage and resolve any customer complaints
  • Represent the company to the highest possible standards of business

Requirements –

  • A successful track record in new homes sales
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience, in managing your own development
  • IT proficient, especially a sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • This will be a fast paced sales environment, where 5* customer service is essential.
