Job Title: Trainee Sales Advisor
Location: North East (Morpeth / Newcastle / Whitburn region)
Salary: £26,000
OTE: £40,000+
Working Pattern: Thursday – Monday, 9:30am – 5:00pm
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing housebuilder in the North East, offering a structured pathway into New Homes Sales.
This role is ideal for someone looking to break into the industry or an existing Sales Advisor seeking a supportive environment with strong training and progression. You’ll initially work across a number of developments, gaining exposure to different sites, teams, and customer journeys before progressing into a more permanent position.
With multiple active and upcoming developments—including brand-new launches—this is a fantastic time to join a business with a strong pipeline and consistent sales performance.
The Role
- Supporting multiple developments across the North East, with a primary base in the Morpeth area
- Providing holiday cover across sites, ensuring continuity of sales operations
- Welcoming and qualifying potential purchasers, both face-to-face and via telephone/email enquiries
- Conducting viewings and show home demonstrations
- Managing the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to reservation and beyond
- Supporting the progression of sales through to exchange and completion
- Maintaining accurate records on CRM systems
- Ensuring show homes and sales areas are presented to a high standard at all times
- Working closely with site teams, solicitors, and external stakeholders
Training & Support
- Structured 3-month training programme
- Ongoing support from experienced Sales professionals
- Clear progression into a fully-fledged Sales Advisor role with full earning potential
About You
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Motivated by targets and delivering results
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Professional, presentable, and confident in a customer-facing environment
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites
- Open to candidates from both within and outside the new homes industry
Package & Benefits
- Basic salary of £26,000
- £12,000 annual commission potential
- Additional £8,000 bonus (quarterly targets and customer satisfaction metrics)
- 2.5% commission on extras
- Strong pipeline of developments offering long-term stability
