 The Role –

Our 5* client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in one of their Northern divisions. This role will be a permanent position working alongside the Sales Director and to develop and motivate the sales advisors across the patch.

The role will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales staff and achieve company targets.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor Sales Advisors to the company standards.
  • Drive sales targets, as agreed with the Sales Director through Sales Advisors.
  • Ensure all KPIs are reached across all areas of sales and customer care including those around lead management/CRM
  • Provide the primary communication channel between site staff, sales and marketing department, other internal departments and external agencies.
  • Be aware of and provide expertise for all customer purchasing activities from Sales Advisors.
  • Provide knowledge/expertise to react to market conditions such as lenders’ criteria, local house price variations, stock plots, Part Exchange properties, and advise on forecasting and development build
  • Support Directors in settling release prices through market research
  • Ensure reaction to customer enquiries and purchasing queries are in line with the business unit plan and site requirements
  • Follow and adhere to company procedures and standards of performance as laid down by the company
  • Propose and agree with Sales Director commission targets and review and approve monthly commission submissions for accuracy prior to submission to payroll

Requirements 

  • Knowledge of sales processes, systems and procedures
  • Ideal experience working in a decentralised business
  • Knowledge of the new build industry and customer journey
  • Academic achievement in sales or marketing-related discipline – degree preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and experience working with up to board level internal customers
  • Experience from a housebuilder background would be ESSENTIAL.
