Customer Care Coordinator - West Yorkshire
Role: Customer Care Coordinator
Location: Kirklees, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
About Our Client:
Our client is a respected and well-established housebuilder with a reputation for delivering high-quality new homes and excellent customer service. Known for their friendly, family-run culture, they offer a supportive and welcoming working environment where every team member feels valued.
Due to continued growth and the successful implementation of a new system, they are now seeking a Customer Care Coordinator to join their Yorkshire division on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:
As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting homeowners throughout their aftersales journey. Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you’ll ensure that customer queries are handled efficiently and professionally while coordinating remedial works across developments in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, and Chesterfield.
You will:
- Log and manage customer defects within COINS
- Liaise with internal technicians and external contractors to schedule and monitor works
- Support site and construction teams with customer-related maintenance
- Handle warranty queries, surveys, and general aftercare issues (around 200–250 homes in warranty at any given time, split between the team)
- Attend weekly progress meetings with the construction team
- Provide a high level of service and clear communication to homeowners throughout the process

About You:
- To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Customer Care, Aftercare, or Maintenance scheduling within new homes, facilities management or construction
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
- Experience using COINS (desirable but not essential)
- This role would suit someone currently working as a Customer Care Coordinator, Customer Service Administrator, Maintenance Coordinator, or Aftercare Coordinator or Scheduler within the Construction industry.
Key Details:
- Salary: Up to £30,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday (8am–4:30pm / 8:30am–5pm / 9am–5:30pm)
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
- Company pension
- Life assurance (x3 salary)
- Annual pay review
