Job Title: Customer Care Coordinator

Location: Teesside

Salary: Competitive basic DOE + Bonus

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm/ 8:30am – 4:30pm

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care Coordinator to join a well-established housebuilder within the Teesside region.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service, coordination, or scheduling experience to join a busy and supportive Customer Care team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring homeowners receive an exceptional aftercare experience, coordinating works efficiently while maintaining excellent communication throughout the customer journey.

The business is open to candidates from housebuilding, maintenance, contractor coordination, or trades backgrounds, provided they have strong organisation and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Role

  • Acting as the first point of contact for homeowners via phone, email, and customer portals
    • Managing customer queries professionally and empathetically
    • Taking ownership of customer cases and maintaining regular communication throughout the process
    • Logging all customer interactions accurately onto internal systems
    • Scheduling maintenance operatives and subcontractors to attend appointments
    • Monitoring works through to completion while keeping customers informed
    • Conducting courtesy calls and monitoring customer satisfaction levels
    • Building strong relationships with contractors, site teams, and internal departments
    • Supporting compliance with the New Homes Quality Code and HBF 5-star standards
    • Providing general administration support including documentation and contra-charging
    • Attending site visits when required to support customers and operational teams

About You

  • Previous customer service or coordination experience essential
    • Housebuilding or property experience advantageous but not essential
    • Trades, maintenance, or contractor scheduling backgrounds also considered
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organisational and time management abilities
    • Calm and professional approach under pressure
    • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • COINS experience advantageous but not essential
    • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
    • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
