Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

The Opportunity:
We’re working with a respected UK housebuilder who are passionate about creating better places for people and communities to thrive. They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Coordinator to join their North East Sales team.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the regional sales operation — coordinating and managing all actions from plot reservation through to exchange of contracts, ensuring key milestones and timescales are achieved. You’ll act as the main point of contact between internal teams, solicitors, and customers, ensuring a smooth and professional journey from reservation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and progress all plot reservations through to exchange of contracts within required timescales.
  • Liaise daily with Sales Consultants, solicitors, and occasionally purchasers to chase and update on contract progression.
  • Ensure legal completion timescales are agreed, monitored, and achieved.
  • Update and maintain departmental reports on reservations, exchanges, completions, and cancellations.
  • Provide wider administrative support to the sales department as required.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, or Contracts Coordinator within the property or housebuilding sector.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Confident working independently and to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the legal and property sales process would be highly advantageous.

This role reports to the Sales Director with day-to-day tasks guided by the Sales Manager. The team are keen to move quickly, with interviews taking place on a one-stage basis.
